The Annville – Palmyra Civil Service Consortium is accepting applications for the creation of an Eligibility List with the Annville Township and Palmyra Borough Police Departments.


- U.S. Citizen – Minimum 21 years of age.
- High School Graduate or Equivalent.
- Act 120 Certification.
- Medically, physically, psychologically capable of performing the duties of a Palmyra Borough or Annville Township Police Officer as written in the job description.
- Possess a valid Pennsylvania Operator’s License
- Successfully pass written and oral examinations, and, physical agility test. Upon a vacancy, candidates on the eligibility list will need to pass a background investigation, and after employment offer extended – medical and psychological examinations.


Application packets may be obtained at the following locations:
- Annville Township Police Department office, 36 North Lancaster Street, Annville, PA 17003. Police office is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Borough of Palmyra Administrative office during normal business hours at 325 S. Railroad Street, Palmyra, PA 1707. The Borough Office is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Completed applications must be accompanied by $40 cash or money order and returned to Annville Township or Palmyra Borough offices IN PERSON by 12:00 NOON on October 7, or BY MAIL AND POSTMARKED BY October 5, 2014. Both the physical agility test and written examination will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2014, 0800 at Lebanon Valley College / Neidig-Garber Science Center.
