Spotted Lantern Fly Informational Field Day

The Lebanon County Conservation District is hosting a Spotted Lanternfly Field day for Lebanon County residents! Residents will have the opportunity to get a free circle trap (while supplies last) and learn about SLF and how to control them on their own property. This event will be held Saturday, October 16th between 10am-2pm. This event will be held at Quittapahilla Educational Wetland Preserve located across from the Lebanon County Jail.  See the flyer below for more information.

The Borough office has a few circle traps available for free, please contact the office at 717-838-6361 if you would like a circle trap.

Changes to USPS First-Class Delivery

Starting Oct 1, 2021, the United States Postal Service (USPS) will extend its standard delivery time for first-class mail traveling longer distances.  First-class mail traveling within a local area will continue to be delivered within 2 days.  Mail traveling longer distances may take up to 5 days to arrive.
Sewer/Refuse payments by mail should be scheduled earlier to arrive on time.  Allow for ample time for mailed payments to be received before the deadline.*
  • Sign up for e-billing to receive your invoice online.
  • Make secured online payments through the Borough webpage.
*Sewer/refuse payments must be physically received in the office prior to the due date to avoid penalties.

White Goods Collection

The time has come to get rid of those old or damaged appliances. The white goods collection is scheduled for October 20th. If you have an item that is on the collection list, just come into the Borough office and purchase a $15 tag to place on the item to be taken. When you purchase a tag your name will be added to a pick up list and your item needs to placed curb side to be collected. Click the link below to view the list of acceptable white goods. Trick-or-Treat Night

Upon recommendation from the Palmyra Chief of Police, and the Lebanon County Police Chief’s Association, Trick-Or-Treat Night shall be held in the Borough on Thursday October 28th from 6-8 PM, with a rain date of Monday November 1st from 6-8 PM, in conjunction with Countywide Trick-Or-Treat Night.
